Cascade Falls is in Christina Lake and is situated east of Grand Forks, about a fifteen minute car journey away. You can see the Falls by taking a short deviation off the Trans canada Trail. At Cascade Falls you can see the Kettle river as it makes its' way eastwards before going south to the USA. The border to the USA is just directly south from Grand Forks and from Christina lake and there are border crossings at both locations.

These photos are taken on the Trans Canada Trail located just south of Highway 3, and west of the road leading to the border crossing at Christina Lake. I was standing on the bridge taking them. They were taken on May 22nd 2006 when the river Kettle was high and racing full of the run-off from the snow covered mountains.Debris was racing at a fast pace. The logs were rushing over here and tumbling down:
A little further along going eastwards take a short deviation off the trans canada Trail and this view of the Cascade Fals meets your eyes. These photos were taken on May 22nd 2006 and shows the water at a high level, racing furiously. You can see that a lot of trees have their feet underwater that most part of the year are high and dry:
Cascade Falls July 2nd 2006:
Notice how much lower the level of the water is! If you compare it with the picture directly above this one you can see that the water is way below the flat rock in the picture!
