Cool tie

I got given this cool tie on Canada Day 2006 by a good friend to celebrate my First Canada Day since becoming a Canadian Citizen. It has picture on it of red Canadian Maple leaves, of the Canada flag, and of stick people. It comes flat, like a tie, but when you feel it you can feel little crystals in it. Before you are able to use it to cool you down, you have to immerse it in warm water for twenty minutes. The crystals expand and fill up with water, so the centre section of the tie is round and full. The ends are still flat.

Then you put this round your head as a head band, or round your neck like a neck tie, or round your wrist. The tie keeps you cool as the water evaporates.
