Wild rose

We have lots of wild rose bushes growing in our front garden. They line the drive way and make a pretty scene in the summer time with their lovely pink and white flowers. We like them so much we bought an extra six bushes last year to extend where they grow and this year we see lots of new shoots that we will dig up and replant elsewhere.

This picture of the rose-hips was taken 2 Sept 2006. However the hips have been on the plants for some time now and some of the hips are wrinkled and drying.
