It grows in to a sprawling plant about 2 or 3 feet tall.

It has tiny purple, pink or white flowers.

It is a perennial.

It flowers in summer.

Uses

it is used as a condiment for meat and fish dishes.

It has a potent taste.

How to use

The leaves can be used fresh or dried.

How to grow

it grows best in well-drained, rich soil, in full sun and with shelter from cold winds .
