On March 27th this year I set off for the UK. I took an Air Canada flight which left at five thirty in the afternoon. The views were so lovely that I took a series of short video clips of the taxi-ing down the runway and the actual take off as well as the views over Vancouver. I hope you enjoy them!

In this video clip you can see that we have taken off over the sea at Richmond where Vancouver International Airport is situated. The plane goes over the sea and takes a right turn. You can see downtown Vancouver in the distance as well as the green of Stanley Park plus the North Shore Mountains.
